I bought this a month ago after doing away with my home theater because of so many wires and i can say it's just perfect. Good Bass quality and crystal clear sound.Kudos to Samsung

First off paid $72 on clearance for the sound bar ...I have owned and tried quite a few "budget" Soundbars (Vizio ..lg..and lower model Samsung) in the past and this one is the clear winner (if you get it discounted). At first I didn't think it was very loud but the one thing that changed the sound output by a large difference was connecting the optical from my DTV receiver to the sound bar..at first I had it connected from tv to soundbar and wasn't near as loud. I don't use the HDMI as there was no difference in sound and all the cables was a pain to deal with on the sound bar...so I have it HDMI from DTV receiver to tv and soundbar optical cable to DTV receiver optical. I have a dedicated 5.1 system in my living room and I am kind of a audiophile and to me this sounds very good ..I am still shocked at how loud it gets and the sub sounds very good not overpowering at all but you know it's there when needed. I rarely have most channels above 40 ( Max is 100) now some channels I do have to crank it up much higher. I like that it has bass and treble control on the sound bar and bass control for the sub unlike so many soundbars (Yamaha..Pioneer) that only have bass control for the sub. I am using it on a bedroom but honestly this thing would be fine in an avg size living room.

Expect the product to last months at most, the product is not durable. Better to go with a better and more expensive brand that will last longer, otherwise you will spend twice as much. Will go back to Bose for speakers.
