I bought this when Sears was going out of business and I like everything about it except reaching inside with the front loading. I'm getting up in years and it's a bit hard for me to bend over - other than that it's a great machine so far.

I had and older duet worked great for almost 10 years but started getting too loud on the spin cycles. I purchased this model because of the closet depth and my duet dryer is working fine. However, we find that the clothes come out much damper than our old washer.
Love it, but needs attention

We love our washer/dryer pair, but beware of the load and go section. After only a few months, the tray is full of black mold! You should take the tray out and wash it in hot water every few months. One feature I would like to see improved is the empty detergent notification. If you don't look at the light that tells you to add, you might miss it. I'd like a beep when I try to use it without detergent, or something else.

I wrote to you about this problem back on March 28,2017. Both Whirlpool and their Factory service representative left me out in the cold. I was at a loss as to what to do - was suing the answer? After much thought, I contacted a local Whirlpool repair service. With much persistence on their part, they replaced computer board, wires, and motor. It took about three months to get all the parts to work as a unit. The machine is working great now and on the recommendation of the independent service person, I did extend the warranty just because the parts are so expensive. However, this machine should have worked properly to begin with. It was a very frustrating six months and I am very grateful not to Whirlpool, but to my independent repair serviceman for caring about the problem enough to work on the machine until it functioned properly.
Amazing Detergent Dispensing

I love how this dries stuff. It takes a lot less time to dry things in the dryer since this gets so much of the water out first.I also love that I can put in detergent and it automatically decides how much it needs to use. I'm using much less these days.
