I’ve had this microwave for a year and a half with a few minor issues. Once in a while when I turn on the microwave function the turntable doesn’t spin and it doesn’t seem to heat up, but when I cancel and try again it’s completely fine. Lately the tone indicating completion of cooking doesn’t sound. All other tones work so I have to check that the timer has run down to confirm that cooking is complete. Not sure if this can be fixed!?
Longer cooking times.

I purchased this unit as part of a kitchen renovation. It was installed under my counter. Unfortunately, I have to use the lock buttons because the control panel is extra sensitive and I have turned it on so many times just brushing by it. The cooking times are so much longer than my old unit. It has taken some time adjust. I am thankful to have the convection addition in case I need two ovens.
Attractive but with serious hazard problems

RAZOR SHARP corners at the front that cut our hands, chin and arm. Door will not stay closed, light comes on. Pops packaged popcorn but not plain kernels in a brown bag like other microwaves. Not enough preset buttons.

Received in January for our new kitchen. As soon as it was installed the fan was noisy and rattling. Technician replaced it. Fan is still on the noisy side (can barely hear the end chime) and it doesn't not shut off until door is opened. Tried cooking a glass of water for 5 seconds and the fan stayed on for 5 minutes afterwards. Whirlpool says this is normal. Would not recommend - it is louder than the $100 microwave it replaced.
