I bought this about a month ago. I love the inside setup - it is exactly what works for me. It also looks nice in my kitchen.
Love the ice maker

Bought this fridge because it was the right size for my small kitchen and it already had the ice maker installed, which is a big deal to me. It has plenty of room and the freezer makes ice very quickly.
Worked great - for a while :(

We bought ours in 2015/16, and it worked great for a while. I never liked the inside configuration (leftovers constantly get shoved behind stuff and lost, which did NOT happen in our previous fridge which had better shelves/compartments). DH chose this fridge, and we are both sorry that he did. On to current problem: in the past 8 months, our freezer hasn't kept things frozen. To add insult to injury, the icemaker tries to make ice but the cubes melt into a big lump. I ended up just permanently turning off the ice maker. We are VERY unhappy with this product, and probably will not buy another Whirlpool ANYTHING ever again. Whatever happened to Whirlpool being a good, reliable company? BUYER BEWARE!
Poor construction and design

Impossible to get the freezer under 20 degrees without going up to the highest setting (#4 out of 4) which then causes the fridge to be too cold (goes from 28-38) and causing food to freeze in the fridge. IMPOSSIBLE to reverse the doors correctly (TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF INSTALLERS FROM TWO DIFFERENT STORES BOTH FAILED AND EACH DAMAGED THE FRIDGE IN DIFFERENT WAYS causing me to waste many days/hours dealing with returns and getting replacements). If this is typical of how Whirlpool makes its products these days I will never buy anything "made" by Whirlpool again ( I would not be too surprised to learn Whirlpool makes nothing other than the insignia slapped on the front though).
