Fridge plugged in with ease and was ready for restocking right away. Clean lines sits well with the kitchen cabinets. Temp control in fridge section keeps freezer section cold enough too. No light in freezer but I have no problem finding things. GE Fridge perfect choice for my family.

Before I offer my evaluation I would like to ask a question. Do the Desigers/Engineers ever stand before these refrigerators and check their workability? I suspect - Not ever. When we open our refrigerator we anticipate that at eye level there would be space for milk, juice and other edibles. Instead we have a freezer with a very large outstanding handle. In order to access the contents of the refrigerator, we have to bash our heads on the handles. How many head bashings does it take for a full scale concussion?
