Since I live in a house built for a smaller family, I needed a refrigerator that would fit in the kitchen space allocated for a refrigerator no wider than 36" X 69". I found the Whirlpool Model No. WRS555SIHZ00 fit perfectly and it still has all the many features that I was looking for, and at half the price of some of the other more expensive refrigerators.

The refrigerator is great. It has all the space I need. The compressor is noisy and irritating. It stays on a long time and the noise level makes me not want to do anything in the kitchen. It needs some kind of muffler or insulator on or around it. I would not purchase this again.

We bought it a couple weeks ago and the icemaker didnt distribute ice. It made it but i discovered that the shaft for the crusher was not installed. It works fine other than that.

I bought this refrigerator in December and it stopped working in January. It took two weeks for Whirlpool to send a technician and get a diagnosis. After seven weeks, I’m still waiting for the refrigerator’s door to be delivered. Hopefully it will arrive before the technician appointment in May. I wish I had bought a different bran.
