replaced my old refrigerator after 25 years with this one. This is the second one. The first one they brought had defective waterline that leaked and had to wait 2 weeks for a new one. Had this one couple weeks now and seems to work well. got same features I had on my old one. lit well inside and keeps temp well. Shelving not as adjustable as I would like but has 3 drawers where I only had 2 before.

We were hesitant to purchase this refrigerator after reading several negative reviews. Since it was one of three that would fit our space, we purchased it. We have no regrets as it does everything it is supposed to. The water dispenser located in front of the ice dispenser makes it easy to fill containers taller than a glass. There are two improvements that would make this model better. First would be adjustable shelves in the refrigerator (the door has adjustable shelves), second would be a fingerprint resistant finish on the doors. We have had no problems with the refrigerator making loud noises. or water dripping from the dispenser as we read about in several reviews.

After being in my home for 13yrs, I decided to replace my WORKING APPLIANCES. I have limited space but wanted a side by side freezer, do to wanting to eliminate an older freezer downstairs. After only 9 day my NEW WHIRLPOOL WENT COMPLETELY BAD! I Lost all my food meats, seafood you name it is all GONE. The most Disastrous THING IS NO ONE, NOT PC RICHARDS OR WHIRLPOOL WANTS TO REPLACE MY SPOILED FOOD. Single Mother just out of Everything.

We've had our refrigerator installed now for about 3 weeks and we really enjoy it. The refrigerator it replaced was a very old Amana refrigerator (the water and ice dispensers hadn't worked for years). We are happy with the water filtration and being able to easily access water and ice via the dispenser. I'd say the noise levels of the Whirlpool and the old Amana are about the same. It's only noticeable when ice is finished freezing and the ice drops into the holding tray, when the ice maker is being re-filled with water, or when you open the refrigerator and then close it and it has to cool down again for a few minutes. The water dispenser location takes a little bit to get used to, since it is in front of the ice dispenser. Overall, we are very satisfied customers.
