We bought the refrigerator on 05/29/2022. About 8 months later we started to get an error code. The error code indicated that the fan was either frozen or going out. The error code went away but would come back. The fix was to either thaw out the freezer or replace the fan motor. We tried to thaw it out. However in June the fan motor was making so much noise we knew we had a bigger issue. Sure enough the motor for the fan was going out. This was just after a year. The warranty was for a year. Well see if LG stands behind their product. Bu so far I am disappointed in the durabilty of the refirgerator.

Bought November 2021 installed march 2022 I was worried about appliance availability during Covid for our kitchen upgrade. Overall very happy with really only two issues. I saw this mentioned in another review so Im not the only one with this issue: the ice leaves little white floaters in the water glass as it melts. Using genuine filter copper plumbing PEX supply line. We do have very hard water so that might have something to do with it that said with our old refrigerator ice cube trays the ice didnt have this issue. Also over the last few days it seems that the water dispensed is not chilled. I believe it had been for most of our time with this fridge. Maybe it isnt supposed to be? Owner Manual never refers to chilled water only purified. The water tasted bad when we first started using it but I think that was because of the initially installed filter sitting in the unused fridge for 5 months. Replacing the filter fixed that. Overall happy though I wish I didnt have the ice floaters problem.

I have owned this refrigerator for a year this August. I enjoy everything about it. The space the lighting the features all of it. The only negative is ice maker noise when filling with water. I can live with that.

So far we are very happy with the new fridge. It does make noise and thats is taking some getting used to compared to the sounds our old fridge made. I am willing to bet its quieter. The ice production seems to be working good for us even though it has less capacity than our old fridge. One thing that would have been nice is if the app walked you thru removing all of the various packaging wraps inside the fridge. We found 2 more this weekend.
