Our First Maytag

We were in the market for a new frig and after an extensive review we decided on Maytag. Our old frig was 18 cu ft and we were surprised to see that the Maytag 22 cu ft was just slightly larger than our old frig. It was really great to get this larger unit in a size that fits! We are in the process of updating all our kitchen appliances and decided to go with the stainless steel. We are really impressed with the fingerprint resistance surface. It truly does works! The lighting is really bright even when the frig is full. We love the pull out bottom freezer and the units is quiet. We had a small issue with one of the crisper draws being damaged but the Maytag Customer Service department was outstanding in their response and sent a one out the same day we contacted them.

I bought this fridge two months ago to accompany the beautiful Maytag stove I bought in July. They look great together. The fridge is quite large with lots of shelves. I like everything about it. So much quieter than my old Kenmore fridge. I have always had a Maytag washer & dryer but this is the first time I have had Maytag kitchen appliances and I am so happy with them.

Love my new Maytag bottom freezer/ fridge!!, with ice maker! Haven’t had an ice maker for over 20 yrs!! Sometimes the ice, makes my ice water, taste funky?! But, when your water coming out of the faucet, tastes like sewer water, even with a water softener! Whattayado?! I love that I can go to the fridge, not having to bend over, to look for something!! It’s awesomeness! Runs quiet,,had to get used to the sound of the ice dropping, in the freezer!..LOL!! Even the dog had to get used to that noise! LOL! Thanks you Maytag! I hope this new one, lasts as long as my old Maytag fridge, I bought 20 yrs ago! I put it in the basement, using it down there! It still runs like a charm! Never has skipped a beat! Thanks you Maytag! Now....if Whirlpool would start making the timer motor AGAIN, for the Maytag automatic washer dial....that would be GREAT! Had my Maytag washer/dryer set since early1980’s! Still going strong! But, will need a new timer motor,,that is discontinued! I don’t want to have to purchase a new washer! I like mine! Dryer element just went out on Tuesday! First time ever!! At least I can still get that part!! Thanks Maytag! For making quality products! One thing I don’t like, about the ice maker/freezer. If ice drops down into the bottom floor of the freezer, it’s hard to get out, with the wire shelving/baskets.!!! Otherwise.... I would purchase this again!! Thanks you Maytag!
