I originally received this washer/dryer combo and it was making screeching noises from both the dryer / washer. I got a replacement washer/dryer and it smells like gas. I had a plumber check the connections and they appear to be fine and I was told it is likely leaking gas from dryer. I am having a terrible experience with these dryers washer combo and do not recommend. Waiting on GE to como inspect the unit, but the smell of gas has me extremely concerned.

I have no complaints about the dryer but the washer gets out of balance really easy if we don't distribute the clothes really well and thats something we didn't have to deal with the previous model we had that was very similar, just different brand that was good for about 8 years till it broke.

This was purchased as a replacement and what a difference. I can fit a decent size load unlike my older stackable. Washes clothing well with the agitator and is easy to keep clean. I have washed a full size down comforter with no problems... Highly recommended!
