Fastest dryer I have ever used!

I love this washer and dryer set! The wash cycles are super fast, and they have AI built in so it knows what type of settings I should be using. I love that I can start the cycle from my phone even when Im not at home. I used to have an old Whirlpool that was incredibly loud, wobbled a lot, and took forever for the wash cycle. I have a couple roommates who often start their wash cycles but then forget the clothes in the wash after they are done and then have to do them again in a day since it would come out smelly. Now the washer sends us a text letting us know the cycle is done and the clothes are ready to be moved on to the dryer! Dont let the size fool you - when the dryer showed up, I thought it was smaller than expected, but one look inside and you realize all the other machines just waste a bunch of space - the inside of the dryer is huge and comfortably fits my king feather duvet - fully fluffed after a wash. This is a perfect washer for a working professional. No more dealing with the old “dumb†washing machines! I am very impressed with how much cleaner these clothes come out compared to a top load washer and how freaking dry the washer spin cycle gets the clothes. What used to take 2 hours in a top load washer takes an hour max with my new Samsung front load washer/dryer. I am a huge fan of the phone app - which lets me change settings on the go, start and stop cycles from afar, and tells me exactly when the cycle will finish! Other things I like is how quiet and quick the dryer is. My old Whirlpool used to burn my old clothes to a crisp - this dryer is smart enough to stop when the clothes are dry and not keep drying. I expect my clothes will last a lot longer. Also this dryer has a steam system built in! Ive never had that before!

I am reviewing the Samsung 7.5 cu ft Smart Dial Electric Front Load Dryer. The dryer was delivered and installed by professionals. I was glad to have them installed. The door of the dryer is adjustable so you (or the installers) can modify the opening to either side. The dryer has easy controls including a front dial and a nice large screen. There are several drying modes that can be selected and we usually use the Normal mode. There are other settings such as bedding and towels. The dryer runs quietly and once I set it and press the button to turn it on, I don’t need to worry about it. At the end of the dry cycle, the dryer sings another victory song and I also get a notification on my SmartThings phone app that the drying is done. So far every load we’ve done came out clean and dry. We have been very happy with the Samsung Smart Dial Dryer. No more line drying for us!

The perfect Dryer

Omg I am so in love with this dryer and how it works. I had an old school dryer and this is by far a super huge upgrade. From the inside light and notifications when the dryer is down on my phone i am so in love. This is a must have its super smart, easy to use, and gets my close dry super fast. I think the only con is the chime is toooooo long but you can turn it off. Other than that is a good purchase.

I purchased this dryer about a month ago, and I love the features. I wish the speed/efficient dry cycle had a better "dry" sensor, as it can leave clothes a little damp. But that is an easy fix with a few minutes on time dry. I love both steam functions, as well.

Smartness built into an already reliable product

I have owned Samsung Dryer prior to this Dryer and had an excellent uninterrupted experience for over 7 years. Samsung has packaged this fantastic machine with added smartness and upgraded features. You can configure the drying options from you mobile and send them to the dryer and also get notified on the time left for completing the drying cycle and end of cycle. You need to install the Samsung Smartthings app on your phone and the app is very user friendly for you to select what you are trying to dry and create your own recipe for drying on the mobile and then send them to the dryer. You can then put the clothes in dryer and just play in order to run the recipe. The clothes are soft and dry without any wrinkles as expected and is energy efficient. There is dial and touch screen to manually select the dry cycle and intensity on the dryer as well. We need to configure Wifi connection for the dryer and I had a bit of a hiccup for the initial setup as I have MAC binding on my router and the MAC for this dryer is not mentioned anywhere. Had to disable MAC binding and find the MAC on my router log and then enable it again to make it work. Once configured it works flawlessly. There are different drying options for different types of material like bedding, wool, delicates etc. The air fluff feature is fantastic when you dont want to use heat for drying some things. Pros: 1) Easy setup and nice app to configure the recipe as per you choice 2) Energy efficient reliable product that you can count on 3) Looks beautiful and can be paired with Samsung washer 4) Lot of custom configurable options on the app as well as the dryer 5) Option to pair it with your washing machine with an optional accessory so that the dryer can be operated from your washer. 6) Easy filter cleanup and replacement 7) Drys well as per your selection 8) Overall installation experience was fantastic which was provided as part of shipping. 9) Big enough room for bedsheets and larger items 10) Less operational noise Cons: 1) MAC address is not provided hence you need to spend extra time if you have MAC binding on the router to configure Wifi. 2) The black door is a dust attractor and need to clean it almost every day. 3) Wish the drum was stainless steel but its not.
