Installed in new construction. First wanted downdraft but that didnât out. Was a little concerned about overall appearance but as it turns out it adds interest and some visual definition to the otherwise completely open kitchen, dining, living area.

Had the glass canopy installed by a carpenter doing my kitchen remodel. Can't find a trim for the ceiling opening. Looks very poor. Had the installation verified by a Frigidaire service center. When the fan is turned on in any setting, fan vibrates and rattles. In any fan setting it is so loud can't hear anything while cooking. Oh it looks nice but I would not recommend it.

I purchased this hood about a year ago for a remodel its clean lines are nice the light is perfect, but the suction of the air is very loud. Overall this was perfect for the money. Keep in mind the glass will need cleaning a lot due to dust and fingerprints.
