When we took the range out of the box, I saw a chip in the paint and the plastic around the clock and oven controls was bowed. I called the customer service and I was offered a new appliance. I was also offered a discount. I am still waiting for the forms.

I had a 10 year old GE electric stove that the self clean didn't work so I was forced to replace it . This Maytag can't compare to the GE . This takes forever to heat up . Especially the oven it's awful. Going to call to see if I could return it . Wouldn't recommend this to anyone .

Control knobs difficult to read

The markings around the control knobs are very difficult to read. The markings are very small; not everyone has 20 20 vision. Had to use a flashlight to read the markings!
