I would have rated this microwave excellent except for the fact that the display panel has no backlight. During the day the functions and numbers are readable but when the room is dark you cannot see the display and need to turn on a bright light.

Brought this LG microwave as an upgrade to my kitchen along with matching stove refrigerator and dishwasher. 2 yes later the microwave digital readout is malfunctioning flashing in the background and LG informs me its out of warranty
