I bought my first Electrolux Icon Induction Cooktop ten years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of induction cooking. I just bought another Electrolux Icon and love the upgraded features. Simple to use, aesthetically pleasing and delivers results as promised. I am a fan for life.

Our cooktop is five years old and we loved it until it stopped working. $1000 part is backordered with NO estimate of delivery time from manufacturer. NOT great

I bought my first Electrolux 36" induction cooktop back in May 2012. Absolutely love cooking on induction over GAS and ELECTRIC, no issues with that. My problem is my ICON literally failed with a BIG BANG (blew out the mother board housing) 4 years and 11 months after purchase. Luckily I had a 5 year extended warranty and it was replaced with an entirely new cooktop in April of 2017. That one blew up the same way (mother board) after 18 months. I have now been waiting almost 3 weeks for replacement part that is on BACK ORDER with no date of arrival. Sears will have to replace with whole new unit. BUYER BEWARE! You better purchase an extended warranty with these cooktops. They run anywhere between $180 thru Loews or $270 thru Sears. Part alone costs over $1300 before labor. Just sayin'.

Love how quickly the cooktop heats up. Makes cooking time so much faster for boiling water.

People who swear by gas have never used induction. Immediate temperature control without the mess grates to clean up. We had a 30" Electrolux combination cooktop for 5+ years because we got an amazing deal on it and only used the 2 induction burners because they were so much better than the 2 conventional electric burners. When we were looking at remodeling our kitchen, we knew we wanted an all induction cooktop that was bigger than the one we had. We absolutely love love love this cooktop.
