I bought this less than 2 years ago and it has been amazing. Cleans great, you don't even have to rinse any dishes!

If you're not sure don't skip the next model up with the third rack for silverware. It's been 6 months and the buttons to set the wash cycles have stopped beeping, not sure if this is a feature I could have accidentally turned off.

I'm very disappointed it the cleaning ability of this dishwasher. I bought this to replace my old Kitchenaid washer that was dying, and to get one that matched other appliances in my remodeled kitchen. I believe the filtration system is the major problem with this - with screens so fine that they need to be cleaned about every two uses. I find myself scrubbing the dishes bare of any visible food particles because everything remaining will get caught on the filter screens that are finer than your window screens are! With this much pre-washing effort, I question what good the dishwasher is at all. My old Kitchenaid would clean all but the most baked on food. The slightest bit of clutter on the filter screens will wind up spread evening across your plates, glasses and silverware at the end of the cycle until you scrub those filter screens clean again - and this is more work than cleaning the dishes to begin with.
